Orlen Zastal Zielona Góra is the Vice-Champion of Poland!
Seven exhausting games, massive emotions, and a fight until the very end! This is what the Orlen Basket Liga play-off finals looked in the 2025/26 season. Although yesterday’s deciding match against Legia Warszawa did not end the way we wanted, for us, Zastal is still GREAT!
Fighting until the last point
The final series against Legia Warszawa kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end. The players of both teams put on a show that will be talked about in Polish basketball for years to come. Our basketball players fought bravely, leaving their whole hearts and character on the court, proving that you can never give up – even when the last second is left on the clock!
A season that exceeded the wildest expectations
Let’s look back to the beginning of the season. We knew our players potential perfectly, we had full trust in coach Arkadiusz Miłoszewski’s expertise and tactical sense, and the fans faith in Zielona Góra never fades. However, looking at it objectively – at the start of the PLK 2026 games, few would have dared to dream out loud of coming this far.
In Zielona Góra, we managed to build a harmonious collective that can stand up to teams with much higher financial backing, does not crack under preassure, and grows stronger from game to game!

Of course, we cannot forget the well-deserved Polish Champion – Legia Warszawa. Huge congratulations, winning the title for the second time in a row in no small feat and the crowning achievement of a beautiful story.
